Tough Cup takes place on the southwest side of Chicago in the South Branch of the Chicago River, also known as the Sanitary Ship Canal. The 2024 Tough Cup X course will be a 6k, with the start about 500m southwest of the Pulaski Bridge and the finish line to the southwest of the Loomis Bridge.
Participants/Spectators - For drivers, no parking will be available on Eleanor St in front of the boathouse out of respect for the neighbors. The west side of the street will be reserved for trailer and east side of the street is permitted parking. If you park there you will be ticketed and perhaps towed. There is free/non-zone street parking on Loomis across the bridge to the north (short walk over) or on Eleanor St north east of Loomis. Please be mindful of permitted areas throughout the neighborhood, and please be respectful of the boathouse neighbors.
Please see Regattas 101 for information on what parents should, what rowers should pack, and what to expect at a regatta.
