Parents are meeting to pack the Booster Equipment on Thursday evening at the Rowing Center while the rowers are loading boats at the Boatyard.
The Booster Equipment will arrive on Friday early evening. Parents that are in the area at that time can come and stake out a site and get some things set up. I will keep you updated on our arrival time.
Saturday morning, the rower call time is 6:00a. Parents can drive through and drop rowers off, then go park in the remote parking areas (see maps below) and take the shuttle back to the site. Tent/food setup can start when you arrive after parking.
Our races are all extremely early on Saturday. If no one makes the finals, we could be done before lunch. Even if someone makes the finals, we may be able to leave and come back. My suggestion is that the plan is cold breakfast before they race, then have pancakes and bacon ready for after they race. Once we know if anyone makes finals, we can make a plan for the rest of the day.
Same as Saturday morning, the rower call time is 6:00a so parents can drive through and drop rowers off, then go park in the remote parking areas (see maps below) and take the shuttle back to the site to start prepping cold breakfast.
Racing is more spread out on Sunday with one race early and one race later. My recommendation is that we have cold breakfast out, then do hot breakfast after the girls come in from their race. After that, we can do a quick assessment of where we are and come up with a plan for the rest of the day that will include when/if cooking should happen and when regatta site tear down could happen. I understand that everyone has a 6 hour drive home and know that getting out of there sooner rather than later is preferable, so that will be considered in the plan.
If boats make the finals on Sunday, we will have a conversation about the timing and figure out site breakdown, boat loading and whether or not there are people that can leave after we take care of the boats that we can take care of and the booster equipment.
Parents, please remember that you can not park at the regatta site, you have to drop your rower off and take the shuttle.
Parking at the Beach Lot is reserved. A parking pass is required.
Wheelchair parking available at the beach parking lot.
If you do not have a parking pass, you will be directed to the additional parking available in the Indian Mound shelter, Turkey Ridge shelter and Tate boat ramp lots. A shuttle is available to the venue.
Parents who are dropping off a rower may proceed to the beach area to drop off the rower at the designated area and exit to the available parking areas.
Beach Road 3 lots are available for parking without a shuttle. Course viewing at the 1500 meter mark is available at the end of Beach Road 3. It is very short walk from the end of Beach Road 3 to the course finish line at the beach area.
Slade Road/US Army Corps of Engineer Boat ramp offers parking and a view of the start dock. Restrooms are available.
Please park in designated areas. Cars parked in prohibited areas will be ticketed. Roads inside the park are monitored and patrolled.

It is really important that everyone going to the regatta has GroupMe loaded on a device and unmutes it so that you are getting updates. You also need to be sure that you are checking GroupMe regularly for updates. We will only be sending updates via GroupMe next weekend.
Please see Regattas 101 for information on what parents should, what rowers should pack, and what to expect at a regatta.
This is a 2000m buoyed race course. The team tent will be near the finish line and the beach area near the tent is really a great area for viewing the race. There are a couple other areas where the race can be viewed as well, but would require driving. Slade Road/US Army Corps of Engineer Boat ramp offers parking and a view of the start dock.
Some of you may need to sign your rower's US Rowing waiver online in order for them to compete at the regatta. If this affects you, you will get an email.
