Trailers and Coach Parking - Vilas Park Drive is currently under construction. Please enter from the east via North Wingra Drive. Traffic can only enter from the east and is now two-way traffic instead of the usual oneway. Upon arrival to the Vilas Park Beach area, CRRC volunteers will direct teams to their designated parking and set up spots along Vilas Park Drive. Vilas Park Drive Construction Map
The course runs from the southwest corner of Lake Wingra to a finish line near Vilas Beach. The best spectator viewing will be along Vilas Park Drive, specifically in the area around Vilas Park Beach. Additional viewing is possible from Arboretum Dr, but be aware that no parking is allowed along the road.
Rower tents will be allowed in designated areas and can be staked. There will be portable toilets set up for easy access in these areas. Please collect your own garbage and place in the available receptacles around the team setup and racecourse viewing areas.
It is really important that everyone going to the regatta has GroupMe loaded on a device and unmutes it so that you are getting updates. You also need to be sure that you are checking GroupMe regularly for updates. We will only be sending updates via GroupMe next weekend.
Please see Regattas 101 for information on what parents should, what rowers should pack, and what to expect at a regatta.
Some of you may need to sign your rower's US Rowing waiver online in order for them to compete at the regatta. If this affects you, you will get an email.
